And here they are! The Team during this morning's Farewell chapel. A great job was done by all. Thanks to President Cureton for joining us and praying for the Team!
Our team is here in Cambodia finishing up our final days. We knew that we were going to see how God is working in Cambodia but it is nothing like we expected. Churches are blossoming, people are coming to Christ, and Cambodia has come a long way. Today we had the opportunity to go to an orphanage on the other side of the city and got to speak with a missionary named Maria. Hearing her story was encouraging to us all and we learned that God does in fact in work even when we don't see it. We were able to show our puppet skit as well as our group song which was a great experience to share our love of Christ. My biggest takeaway so far is that even with the language barrier, there are all sorts of ways to worship and we are all worshiping the same Father who loves us unconditionally. Cambodia has been an amazing experience so far and we are expectant for what God is going to continue to do. - Celiena Davis
Hi everyone! For those wondering this is Heather Jones writing the blog this time. We are now on week two of being in Thailand and we are seeing really cool things happen. The first week of teaching came to an end last Thursday and we had a crazy busy weekend. On Friday the whole student team from the main campus went and visited Laura and Natalie at their apartment. We went to the mall and relaxed with them for a while. That evening we had a church service back on the main campus. I went with my youth cell group to the Grand Canyon of Thailand (as they call it), to an orphanage, and then to the Indian sea. I can't speak for the other group who went to the University but I was very encouraged to see how God is at work through the orphanage and through the Thai people that I went with! On Sunday we went to a church servi
Laura & Natalie here :) We arrived in Tokyo last Thursday and we have been loving every moment in this enormous city From the people to the food, this city is always keeping us on our toes. Our team can be heard from miles away as we disrupt the peace of the beautiful city with our chaos. However, we’ve used this chaos to our advantage while working with several of the adorable children that live in this city. We have sung, danced and fed children crazy amounts of sugar while loving every moment of ministry. When we weren’t doing ministry, a crazy hunt for the perfect chopsticks kept us busy. One thing we didn’t see coming, was a ride on a pirate ship around Mt. Fuji as it rumbled, causing us to all think it was going to erupt! Overall, this trip has challenged us but blessed us with new friends and experiences that we will never be able to replicate. Every day we are shocked as we learn to live life together in a new culture. As this trip comes to an end, we are preparing to r
